We're the Barney family — and this is our home. We built it ourselves in 2019–2020, and we're proud of every inch of it. With seven children keeping us on our toes, life in Hatch is full, loud, and exactly the way we like it. We spend our time outside whenever we can — camping, hiking, hunting, and gathering firewood in the canyon country we grew up loving.
We believe the saying that Hatch isn't just a place — it's a way of life. The quiet, the open skies, the sense of space that's hard to find anywhere else. We want to share that with you. Come stay, slow down, and get a real taste of country living in Southern Utah.

the Sevier River
The farmhouse sits on a full acre along the Sevier River in Hatch, Utah — a wide valley flanked by red rock mountains, with open skies in every direction. The river out front is great for trout fishing. The covered porch out back has a swing and views that go on forever.
We built the lower level specifically for guests — three private rooms with their own separate entrance, completely independent from our family's living space. You get the comfort of a real home and the privacy of your own retreat, right on Highway 89 between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
